Aristeia! The Game: Táowù Mastermind!
Here is the second addition to my four man team for "Aristeia! The Game". I am using Táowù alternate model called Táowù Mastermind. I love the alternate model as it gives me the feel of the old Chinese Kung Fu movies I watched when I was a kid..... a very long time ago.
He was fun to paint, but white, man oh man, white. I am still experimenting and learning how to do white and not just make it look like I simply spray painted white on it. I need more practice but I am happy with how it came out. Here is a little background on my master of quantum waves.
"He is the knower of all plans, the surfer of the quantum waves and the waters of chance.
Táowù has meticulously plotted out his life with the utmost precision. He has never made a misstep nor failed to take advantage of the missteps of others.
His grasp of the intricacies of social behavior is such that he can unleash Armageddon by uttering a single word.
Táowù is unacquainted with failure because he knows that in show business mistakes are paid for with the currency of ridicule and mockery. All who have accused him of mistakes eventually have no other choice but to admit it was in fact they who were mistaken, exposing themselves to public scorn.
Always keep in mind that Táowù is always exactly where he intends to be and, if he leaves, it’s because he wants to."

Aristeia! The Game: Kozmo!
Aristeia! is a future gladiatorial based game based off the world of Infinity. The game has great mechanics and is fun to play, but it doesn't have a following in the US and pandemic struck down any kind of growth as it was released just before. It seems to still be going strong in Spain, but since the world has started coming back into normalcy Corvus Belli has really focused on releasing new models for Code One (Infinity simple) and Infinity.
The Expansion "Smoke and Mirrors" has a gladiator team that I really like because it has a robot. You know me, Dinosaurs and Robots, I just can't resist them!
Here is a post from Aristeia! about my little guy....
Nobody has ever caused such a stir setting foot in the HexaDome as Kozmo. Enveloped in smoke with his glistening jade armor covered in graffitilike a schoolyard wall, his first appearance of him was a sight like no one had ever seen before in the arena.
Noriko Ayase, Kozmo's creator and pilot, is an extremely brilliant recent grad from Tomari University who combines the enchanting innocence of a Japanese schoolgirl with the pragmatism of an engineer into her fine-tuned combat mecha.
Kozmo, her remote-piloted mech, exhibits the widest range of abilities since 8-Ball. And each time Norika unleashes one of them, they blast from his built-in speakers to the delight of the chanting HexaDome crowds.
But this aristo is just full of surprises, because the design of the current season's outfit is the result of a collaboration between Noriko and her kid sister Yue, another star in the making.
...and with that said here is the old design, and the newly created one, along with my finished work on the model.

Blacksite Studios: Lunar
So back in May of 2022 I picked up the game Lunar from Blacksite studios. Basically it's alternate history, Soviet Union places a man on the moon first, and then shortly after NASA gets there. Then there is conflict, and away we go.
Game is played on a 2 X 2 mat, has cards for Astronauts and equipment to fit them out. When I got it I thought a friend of mine would want to play it and basically was told no. So the game went into my closet of 'something that may happen one day", and has sat there ever since.
Then enter my friend, will call him Mr. R, who goes to Adepticon this past March. Mr. R, like most of us, saw some shiny things and went ooh ahh. Unfortunately for him the game Lunar was sold out in a day and he couldn't get it.
When he came back he couldn't wait to tell me all about it, and I was like things that make you go hmmm. So I told him about the Apple TV show "For all Mankind" and in a week he binged watched the first season. Now he's all ooh ahh again.
So I decided to paint up my astronaunts of the CCCP and NASA and knocked them out yesterday and today. I still have to place the 20 individual decals across the helmet of the Soviets (C.C.C.P.) but Mr. R wanted pictures right now.
Sooooo...... here ya go, but first the video I made as a teaser for him.

SF3D/Maschinen Krieger: P.K.H. 103 NUTCRACKER
Finished my second P.K.H. 103 Nutcracker a couple days ago and just got around to getting some pictures. This is my favorite vehicle from the genre. It's controlled by AI and is a hover vehicle.
SF3D/Maschinen Krieger was a series created by Kow Yokoyama back in the 80's. I have been a longtime fan. This world has always been first and foremost for the model kit building world. As a war gamer I have always wanted to get this to the table and just a year or two ago slave2gaming (click on this and it links you to his website) started producing these in 15mm metal. He had a first and second wave, and will soon be releasing another wave to add to this wonderful world of Sci-Fi goodness. I am helping to play test a simple set of rules for these and so far they are looking like a good set of crunchy beer and pretzel type game.
Here's a few pictures of my tank.
