What will you find here? Ramblings from an aging gamer-miniature painter. When I first started out in this hobby computers were in their infancy and finding other gamers could only be done by going to conventions or as in my case bumping into somebody who happened to see me reading "Panzer Leader" on the school bus. Look how far we have come! The internet has allowed our small community to be able to connect on a level I never dreamed of when I was but a small lad. What I do hope you will find here is something interesting from one wargamer/miniature painter to another. I paint miniatures somewhat decently, so I will be posting some pictures of my work, and perhaps a review or two of games and/or miniatures. Most of all this is just about having fun and anything I post here is meant to be for that reason.

Showcase: Infinity Yu Jing Hsien

Another figure done for my local Infinity Clubs paint a new army by November 23rd of 2019. I actually didn't mean to paint this one up, I got the names confused and ended up painting this one, but it's okay because he is still part of my list for November.

This figure is called a Hsien. It's a heavy infantry unit for the Yu Jing faction armed with a HMG. It also is equipped with a special visor that helps it see through smoke etc. Think thermal sites like on a tank.

This puts me just shy of my halfway point, of course I could be done in a week or two with so few figures, but not having a lot let's me bounce from period to period to keep it fresh.

    Very cool figure, Kevin; nice color scheme and love the spiky bits protruding from his back :)

      Thank you Dean, those spiky bits are antenna arrays for various functions.

      Thank you Mr. G, I can't take credit for coming up with it, Corvus Belli painter Angel came up with it, I just connected the dots, and the colors do compliment each other.
