If it's not Kell Hound Heavy Metal, it's not Heavy Metal!
So this is what I worked on this week to take a break from building and painting Orklands Refueled cars.
Battletech has been near and dear to my heart for over thirty years. I love reading the books, their just like all those cheesy western lone gunfighter novels, or those I can solve every crime sleuth novels. I just can't get enough.
I've really started to enjoy Battletech back in the day when the BattleForce rules came out. Where you can play company, battalion, and/or regimental size games in the same time it took you to play the game Battletech itself. I've always enjoyed more operational style games, and with the combination of giant robots and operational gaming, what's not to love?
Here are the two Kell Hound mechs I finished this week, one is a Thunderbolt, the other a Wolverine. I also shared a picture of the Lance together. One lance down, and two to go for my Company.

I like the shading on the feet to comply with the terrain they are on. Helps make them look battle tested.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robert, yeah the light drybrush around the legs sells it I think.
DeleteAs always well done! They all look awesome together. Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteSoon you will experience the power of heavy metal MP:)
DeleteI like the glazing you did on the cockpit windows. What rules are you going to use?
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave, and Alpha Strike are the rules. It’s what BattleForce morphed into.
DeleteBattletech, baby!
ReplyDeleteHopefully, you being an experienced mech jock, you’ll get a chance to command a company soon.
