What will you find here? Ramblings from an aging gamer-miniature painter. When I first started out in this hobby computers were in their infancy and finding other gamers could only be done by going to conventions or as in my case bumping into somebody who happened to see me reading "Panzer Leader" on the school bus. Look how far we have come! The internet has allowed our small community to be able to connect on a level I never dreamed of when I was but a small lad. What I do hope you will find here is something interesting from one wargamer/miniature painter to another. I paint miniatures somewhat decently, so I will be posting some pictures of my work, and perhaps a review or two of games and/or miniatures. Most of all this is just about having fun and anything I post here is meant to be for that reason.

Saga craziness continues...

Finally put together one of two 4Ground buildings I received lately and I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with them. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, more it was I didn't really want to do it. But upon finishing it I was quite happy I forced myself to sit down and do it. Here are some pics of the Pre-Painted Anglo Dane Hovel I put together in sequence.

  1. Nice! Thanks for the step by step pictures. I'm scratchbuilding a Viking dwelling now, but I am sorely tempted by the 4Ground buildings. It's a fine line between my thriftiness and my laziness! :)

  2. Lol, indeed it is hard enough for me these days just to sit down and paint! As I started putting the building together I made two mistakes that I corrected. One was I put the floor in upside down (logo stamp should face down), and I put the door together backwards (that one was the hard one to correct). But in the end I didn't spend more than 45 minutes building it up. So it was pretty easy.
