King Williams War in Ireland: Francois du puy du Cambon Regiment

I've completed the second regiment of Huguenots. Now that puts me at half way to being half way done!

Moving on to the Danish Regiments now, and then over to the four regiments of Cavalry for King James!

As always thanks for looking.

Cheers
Kevin

  1. Very nice, I do like the large and colorful flags of the period. You are painting at an impressive pace!

  2. I looked before I read and said to myself "FRENCH!"
    Well I was real close.

    No pikes? Interesting!
They look good. You have made an all grey uniform colorful! Well done!

    1. Thanks Skip, the battle I’m doing supposedly has these two units either stop using them during the campaign or leaving them behind when they crossed the river. The fording William troops got hammered by King James Cavalry because of it and also their wet powder reduced their volley output.

Yes these boys had gray cuffs, no shooting the artist please;)

  3. Awesome! The flag bearer with the sash and gold hat trim is looking exceedingly fabulous.
