So to take a break from the same ol same ol, I painted up another Aristeia! futuristic gladiator named Gata for a friend (this will make number 3 of 8 I promised), and Rasputin for my Hellboy game which leaves me a bunch of frog monsters yet to paint.
First up is Gata and then Rasputin.
Alrighty M.K. (you know who you are), you've thrown down the gauntlet of super coolness with Arena Rex. You've got the group all jazzed up about having a few games, I'm obviously painting, are you? In fact R.G. and M.M. you better get off your butts and start painting your Ludus as well. I now have five finished and May isn't that far away boys. Let's do this!
Today I finished another gladiator for my Ludus Magnus. Septimus is his name and I think this is the best job I've done yet on painting flesh. Thank goodness though he is wearing a helmet. I just hate painting faces.

Completed four more mechs, having a blast painting these. These are from House Kurita (Draconis Combine) and the unit is the famous Genyosha.

As you saw from my previous silly post, I am painting up some most excellently detailed Gnolls I picked up from an Etsy printer. I have completed six of twelve that I have, but think I am only going to paint up ten. I doubt I'll need anymore on the table than that, though I need at least four of those to be archers. Hopefully this week I can knock out another four so we can move on to the next mission with our Shadow campaign.
