Showcase: Infinity: Anaconda Mercenary TAG

As the story line expands in the Infinity World my eyes have been drawn to the Mercenary Companies. One of which is called the "Starco" (the good guys of course) which came out with the book Uprising. The reason, mostly, I decided to put together one of these companies is that I can use my Nomad collection. This allows me to spice things up with my Nomad collection and do something different. The other is the very cool limited edition (and now a regular box has been added) Brawler models that Corvus Belli has released, and I've been collecting. Are they good troops? I don't know. Are they equipped with the latest and greatest weapons and technology? I don't know. Are they very, super, awesome, good looking? Oh hell yeah! So the rule of cool says I have to paint them up. I've finished three of them already but ran out of Dulcote so I will post them later.

Now as I went through the Starco list to see what troops I could collect (or had already with my Nomads) I noticed the only TAG this list can have. I've been on this TAG binge lately, and the one the Starco company can have is called the Anaconda. It's big, heavy (seriously could hurt my opponent if I hurl it at them), and it has a sword! Who doesn't like a giant mechanical like robot that has a pilot in it.... with a sword!

So of course I had to paint it up. It wasn't too hard to put together for one of their (Corvus Belli) older models, but I did have to pin the legs, arms (for the pilot as well), among some other things. Who wants their paint job screwed up if it falls apart in the middle of a game.

So for now here are some photos of my finished Anaconda TAG.

As always thanks for looking.

Cheers
Kevin

  1. Incredible job dude. I really like the metal effects. Very nice work on the decals and the base compliments the fig well.

    1. Thanks Dave, the NMM effects are not easy to do (at least for me), still learning how, I am getting there though.
