Whew, finally got a chance to do some blogging. So I am posting the finished project of making some hobby terrain to make my boards look nice. Again these are from Worldsmith Industries and are made from resin. The trees I ended up using I picked up from a flea market. I tore the trees off the old bases, which basically meant snapping them off at ground level because of glue used. I used a pin vise to drill out the bottom of the trees and then used plastic rod to glue in hole to use as pins for placing on Worldsmith's bases. Did a little dry brushing on bases, little static grass, polyurethane for protection, and then a mat coat to take off the shine. Presto change-o it looks pretty good in the end I think.
As always thanks for looking
Cheers
Kevin
Looks very nice indeed Kevin. Those trees were a lucky find!
ReplyDeleteHowdy Lee, yes indeed they were, saved me a bit of time as well since I didn't have to assemble them as well.

Very nice! It turned out looking really good.
ReplyDeleteThanks SKip, I got them done just in time for my Rus Princes to use in their first loss:( But they still have a winning record at 3 - 1.
